Chromebook Shortcut of the Week - October 21st

This week, the topic for the shortcut of the week is multitasking! No longer do you have to resize windows and try to guess how to see two tabs at once on your Chromebook. Using this week’s shortcut will allow you to quickly send a window over to the right or left, allowing you to achieve the perfect split screen for the task at hand!

To start, using the Chrome browser on your Chromebook, simply drag one tab that you need out of the window (you should now have two Chrome windows open). Next, use the following shortcut - “ Alt + ] ” to send that window to the right hand side of your screen. Next, click back to your other window and use “ Alt + [ “ to send the second window to the left!

Now, you can easily focus on two windows at the same time, allowing you continually check both pages as needed. If you want to switch it up, you can use Alt with either bracket to send them to each side.

This is a helpful guide to assist you in using your Chromebooks to their full potential!
